Default tC Floor Mats??

What are the standard floor mats like for the tC? My tC comes in on Friday and I can't remember what the mats look like. I'm debating whether to get the optional ones. If the difference if minimal then I'll just save my money.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you like the optional mats, but I just wanted to see if there was a big difference from the standard ones. I tried searching and came up with no relevant results. This site is pretty archaic and not very user-friendly — especially for a first timer.

FYI--the tC does not come standard with floor mats. The only mats available are optional.

well here is the floor mats...

they come apart when conditions get wet.

Honestly.. i think its a waste of money...

I just pestered the hell out of my dealer and he gave me a set of xB floor mats..

I think they look a little better because the scion logo goes across...

well.. its a crappy picture..

Given the option of both for free, i would definetely get the tC ones.. but i think the features are overrated for the price...

I dunno.. its all personal preference

Thanks for all the input guys. I had no idea that there were no floor mats at all! That kind of ticks me off. I live in RI so mats are a must in the winter.

$35 would be fine, but the Scion site says $145. Where did you get yours?

The dealer $145 also includes a cargo mat for the trunk.

Yeah, and they're convertible: you can remove the carpet panels in the winter time and you have a rubber mat with a lip to catch slush and snow. I couldn't have asked for better mats. I don't know why so many people complain and buy cheap mats. If you're ok with putting $20 mats in your $17,000 car, that's fine with me. Mats were the only option I got from the dealer.

I'm actually not ok with putting $20 mats in my car. I just wasn't aware that the car would come with no mats at all. Had I known, I would have gladly purchased the mats as opposed to having none.

You can order the mats and cargo mat from McGeorge Parts for $20 or $30 less than the dealer.

Thanks for the tip. I'll probably do that instead of purchasing them from the dealer. I'm kicking myself for not ordering them though. I just figured the car would come with a cheaper version of the mats.

I ordered mine from Toyotaparts4u.com... they're great and a (relative) bargain at $80 with low shipping.

I just got my floor mats as a B-day gift....they are great. Fit perfectly in the front and back. Also like the fact that the driver side snaps in to hooks so it does not slide on you, very nice feature. Plus, the carpet able to come out is just great for winter.
