i'm just wondering what most people think about the foglights for the tc from scion. sometimes i think they look ok, but sometimes i think they look horrible. like yesterday i saw them on a tc in a tc commercial on tv and they looked ok. but then again everything was all computerized and it was racing down the futuristic video game looking track. they also looked smaller in the commerical so maybe that was it.

by the way, i haven't seen too many pictures of the foglights on a tc without the ground effects body kit, so if you have any, please post them.

They're alright. I personally think that they'd look much better in the outer cutouts instead of in the bottom grille. Sorta like the guy who molded the lexus fogs in.

I think the stock fog lights for the tC were an afterthought. I really don't like how they are placed... Like BreakTheStatic said, I'd rather them be in the outer "air ducts." Although, I don't like the IS300 fog light conversion, either...

 

at first i didn't like them , thats y i didn't get them.....but they eventaully grew on me and now i want them

it just seems to me like they make the car look more american. just the roundness and the placement in the middle and not off to the sides makes it look that way to me.

 

Do they interfere with the intercooler?

actually i think most american cars are on the very outsides. at least pontiacs are.

It's okay lookin but it shouldve been put on the sides rather than in the middle.

 

I agree. Plus they are just begging for a big ol' rock chip or crack at some point.

 

That exact thing happened to my fogs. The cracked one still works, but some moisture is starting to get in it.

 

I had one shattered by a rock... They had no price for a replacement and (after a week of bugging them) sold me one for $97. Scion customer care later called me and informed me that a price had been set for the individual lights... $167.00 !!!! I can buy the entire kit (including harness, switch and lower grill) for $350. So I wouldnt reccomend them if you are looking into buying some.

 

I was going to get Fogs on the tC until i found out where they went. After i saw how big they were, and the location, i changed my mind real fast.

 

I think mine are badass.
