Default tC Headlights: high beam/low beam?

forgive me for the stupid question but which set of headlights are the high beams and which are the low beams.

from the pictures, it looks like the outer ones are low beam, and the inner ones are high beam. please correct me if i'm wrong.

Most Toyota cars i've dealt with has that same configuration. low beam outside and hi beam inside..... wouldnt expect the tC to be any different.

besides low beam on the outside covers more lighted area, so it just makes more sense to have it on the outside.

I'm confused as to what sort of relevance this would have to anything, but if you go to www.wanttc.com and look at the front shot photos of the tC with it's lights on, you'll see that the inner bulbs are the amber turnsignals.

That would mean that the outer bulbs are both the high, and the low beams.

Hmm....after looking at it from a different angle it looks like you might be right. Those turnsignals are in a really weird position then....kinda off to the corner in front of the high beam.

A little confusing if you look at it from head on. Nice catch though....did you get to see the car in person??

That placement for the turn signals will look tight.

thanks for the clarification guys, and Egglick, I have noticed the turn signals on the lights in the pictures. I've done at least 10 photoshops of those pictures. Note that the hi-beam and the turn signal are different units as emo had pointed out.

reason i wanted to know is i'm planning on getting HIDs. I'm not about to spend over a grand getting HIDs on both my high and lows if i use my highs less than 10% of the time.

Hmmm....
I wonder if anyone will have an "angle eyes" (i.e. Halo look) lights for the tC?
That would look sweet.

Default Headlight bulbs

I know the headlights for the low beam is 9006 and the high beam is 9005, the turn signal i'm not sure of but it might be H3.

I checked out the car yesterday and took out the light bulbs to see what kind are they because I to want to get HIDS for my tC.l
