tC Headliner Update

We are going to start on the four inserts in the tC as well in carbon fiber and fiberglass.Should be starting on those shortly after the headliner is done.

Is there a weight reduction freom the OEM headliner to the Carbon Fiber Headliner?

I think the headliner is more of a show thing then a performance mod.

If you want to cut the weight, gut the car and not have any trim!

About as much as getting carbon fiber floormats over the OEM ones!
Haha, lol.

Just kidding man. Thought it was funny. Probably a valid question except for the fact that 3-5 lbs. in our tubby cars just is not going to get anything done. You can argue power to weight all you want, but in the end the tC is still just a pretty Camry with a glass roof.

That liner could be real nice though. I am interested.

You would need to shave 100lbs to lower your 1/4 mile time by .01

and our tC's are really heavy, especially if you've been drinking and have a fat chick in your car...

I dont' think the headliner and the inserts are really going help you in your 1/4 mile runs.

I just went back and checked on the headliner and it is comming along rather quickly. We just started on the 4 inserts last night as well,
