I was wondering the same thing. I bet if he got rid of it he could actually pass the 944 instead of just nosing it

 

i asked the same thing when the car was getting built, its basically to allow others to ride in the car for hot laps and such.

he took me for a ride once, and OMG is it awesome, however when he brakes, the five point harness isnt forgiving if your not ready for it

and btw, i think he told me the seats only weigh 13lbs.

 

Close, Ali. 7 kilos actually. And success in Motorsports is just as much (and sometimes more) a function of Marketing. Allowing your sponsors, media, and others to experience the car is worth its weight in gold.

 

That's a non-turbo 944. A turbo would have opened a considerable gap on the tC. That said, that 944 is on an agressive line...very nice!

 

you guys would honestly be suprised how the tC was performing considering it was the first time the car was on a track with the suspension not set at its full potential.

its only going to get better from here

 

To play devil's advocate, the 944 could've been saying, "Boy it sure wasn't hard to get around and pass that Scion!" But I know, thats not how it went down. Love the race tC!!
