one way u can tell those rims aren't gonna be anywhere close to productions, is by lookin at the brake rotors... those look like they r from a M5 or sum...
I seriously doubt this will go into production. The new corrola is heads and shoulders above the old one anyway. And the brought back the XRS this year. We now have almost to many trim levels on them: CE, S, LE, XLE, And XRS, with the xle and xls poking into camry pricepoints.
If toyota was going to make an evo rival, they would badge it a Scion not a toyo.

I thought it was an upgraded Camry at first. Then as I look carefully, it was a Corolla. Definitely, it's purdy . . . but those wheels kill it and the rear doesn't suit it. Other than those for me . . . i'd cop that!
These kind of threads ____ me off..There is so ____ing many of these lately...It wouldn't ____ me off, if the proposed 'killer' was in the same class/pricerange and wasn't a 4 door sedan...This is apples to oranges, scratch that, more like apples to mutated banannas...Not even close.

Really though, I don't see how this car is not in our class. Same engine, same S/C, same drivetrain. Only difference is it has two more doors. Price would probably be in the low to mid 20s. Add TRD parts to your tC and it will also be over $20k.

... xrs with supercharger? isn't that essentially a tc + trd s/c + intercooler?
I wouldn't call it the same killer as the previous xrs. Unless they changed the transmission, this one only has the same camry engine and 5 spd box, not the celica engine and 6 spd box.

looks like a baby lexus is-f.
hey, i like cars like this. i mean, if you could only afford one car, that could haul 5 people, and @$$, and get decent mpg and be fun to drive on the back roads, i'd be perfectly happy settling for this car.
and if models like these sell well, then maybe toyota will make their own evo/sti rival.
