Default TC noise when releasing clutch and rolling@idle - please hlp

Hi, i have a brand new 2007 TC, and i noticed when i was driving around in a parking lot the other day that i have this odd noise coming from what feels like the driver's side front wheel well.

At first i thought i had run over a screw or nail, but this is how i can best decribe it:

It is like something is caught on the tire, and hitting the wheel well as the wheel spins around, a very slight thump that you can only hear with the windows up, and radio off. From outside, the engine noise makes it impossible to hear really.

It feels like (and sounds like) i ran over a large peice of gum or something, but it completely goes away once i start to accellerate. Here is how to reproduce:

from completely stopped/idle, put car in 1st gear, and slowly release the clutch (NO GAS) until the car starts rolling forward. then fully release the clutch and just let the car coast using idle power.

there is a slight thump coming from the front left wheel, that feels like something is wrapped around the wheel, hitting the wheel well, yet i've looked 100x and can't find anything.

As soon as i start to accellerate past 5mph, it completely goes away and there are no problems!

Anybody have a clue what this could possibly be? Thanks for reading!

First gear has a slight whine in my car when i'm coasting in it. I don't think this is what you're looking for though. The only other time i've had something like this is when I actually did have a piece of duct tape on my left wheel hitting the wheel well.
