Default tC or not tC??

Hey guys/gals,

I've had a 07 Silver tC. Picked it up back in 07 brand new. I was never into mods, however I did do some minor ones: short shifter/ lights/tint, etc... I loved my car dearly but recently it was totalled by a drunk driver, so I've been carless for some time now. Im looking for a replacement but my budget can only allow me a few to pick from civic/ tc/ golf, etc... What do you guys think? Should I get another tC? The only change I would make will be that I'll buy a white one instead of silver. No offense on the silver but I've been addicted to white cars recently, lol. What do you guys think?

White is a harder color to take care of. Are they giving you the choice of a new tC or used one? I would get the 2011 tC.

the 2011 tC is a total fail in my opinion, I hated the look and the <20hp gain? what the ___... If I am getting a tC, I would be getting the 2010 model, it's a beautiful car no matter which angle I look at it... lol

2010 SW or a 2010 blue. Black is way to hard to take care of. you see every little thing

If you're going for new I would say the golf..if you're going for used? Well you have a whole fleet of different cars to choose from at that point.

White is possibly the easiest color to take care of.

yea, I've been looking at those new golf. My only concern about vw is that german cars are expensive to maintain (from what I've heard from others). yea, i would agree about first year of 2nd gen might have a lot of problems. As far as black cars, im never a big fan of campact black cars. Black cars looks good on benz/ camaro/ etc... imo. lol

I would go civic but only if it's stick, honda automatic transmissions suck(even in Acuras). vw has yet to convince me about their long term reliability so no on the golf. And I wouldn't want to have the same car twice but thats me.

The only reason why I am leaning toward the golf right now is because of its safety ratings, according to Institute of Highway Safety, they are outstanding in that regard. I was t-boned by a drunk driver at 40+ mph, it's scary looking right at the car and knowing it's not going to stop. Thanks for your responses, i'll keep you guys updated about which car i end up with Going for a white car fo sho tho lol. white car with cf hood= hotttttt lol

that's why im thinking about getting another scion, generation 2 coming in 2011, there might just be some discounts on the tC,,, i know and understand about the whole pure pricing, but maybe it's possible, taking the whole circumstance into consideration, including sales down of course, it's logical that scion should do some price cuts,, iono lol

Test drive all the car's you like and pick yours carefully.
If you are not into performance modification's tC is fun, but FWD kills it for performance and takes it away from fun factor a little bit.
