Default TC now one week old... Final Thoughts

After a week and 600 miles I can say that I am extremely satisfied. I returned a 2004 Limited 4Runner which I was paying almost 40k and picked up the TC.

Ride is excellent, I had two over 6' people in the front and two 6' in the back. The people in the back actually un-tilted the seats, they were very happy with the room in the back.

Unlike some would tell you the AC is VERY cold.... Next time someone has a problem try putting a temp probe in the vents. If the Car is not kept in the shade it will take some time to overcome the heat buildup in the car and from the dash on hot days but the air actually leaving the vents is super cold.

Having the Nav system installed in the dash makes the interior look all that much better. I am not exactly a fan of Cloth Seats but the Material used in the TC is excellent, Guess we'll need to wait a year to see how the interior holds up.

Windows are 1 Touch open and 1 Touch Close for both Driver and passenger. The Moon roof really makes the car. The whole look of the car changes when that roof is open. As far as the shades go, I don't see what all the fuss is about. They work (not that I ever close them) and look good when closed.

Never had so many people bother me at stop lights. I am still surprised at how many people don't know what the hell a Scion is.

Extremely happy.... No Buyers remorse... Can't wait to drive every day...

hell yea, people really dont know about scion and when they see the tC theyll think its fast the way it looks...

when i had my first look on the tC at scion.com, it looked fast. sporty lookin, headlights reminds me of BMW's

scion tC is gonna rise, and the civic plummets (who the fuc* wants 15k civic 127hp when you can get 15k tC 160hp????)

i completely agree. i went from a WRX to a tC and the tC (IMO) is a better car. I was seriously considering a G35 6MT or a BMW Z4, but decided to go cheap....the tC is a lot of car for no money.

my a/c is freezing cold also...and we have had plent of humid and hot days in the philly area to test it out.

the seats are very comfortable.

the sunroof noise doesn't bother me...i would like to know what it is though.

the look of the car is unique and i love the lines, especially the flared back wheel wells.

i love my tc too i've had it a week today unfortunately i found a SCRATCH 4 days after getting it i'm going to get that paint protection warranty they're offering on this car though so they'll fix any of these scratches for me..... i mean not even a week and got a scratch c'mon that's not a good sign of things to come for me.

and also does anyone else hate the way that car brakes?? its like its either not enough or all of a sudden i feel the brakes just kick in real hard and jerk the car..... maybe its just me i dunno lol.

^^^ Could be cause your not use to them yet. 4 wheel disk breaks is a big change comin from front disks only.

I agree that this is probably the problem. I went from a 99 Corolla and have noticed a slight difference in the braking style.
