So i went to pep boys and got my oil and what have you , and tried loking in the book for a filter. I couldnt find one so i asked the guy to look in the computer. The tc isnt in the computer either. So does any one know ?

the one that comes with the car from the factory in japan is 90915-1004 (by denso). The one that dealerships will probably (should) use here in the US if you get your oil changed is 90915-YZZA1 (filter for 2.4 liter camy engine). Some dealerships might give you the wrong camry filter 90915-YZZA2 which is for the older camry engines (before 2002 year).

if you want to go trd, the us made trd filter is 00602-90915-006

Go to the dealership and ask for an oil filter.

I change my own also....the dealership here sucks.. Ive had friends who had taken theirs in and the dealership didnt even change the filter....so if not the filter who is to say the oil got changed.

So buy the filters from the dealership and change your own oil at the House.

Don't Scions come with owners manuals? Should be in there, along with all the other fluids & the maintence schedule.
