Default tC owners = ***holes?

Have any of you experienced this? I have seen a few tC's in my area lately and all but 1 owner has cared to chat or even give notice to another tC owner. I noticed one tC ina parking lot one day and drove up to check it out. There was a guy about 28-30 with his wife and daughter sitting in it. I stopped and chatted and we had a good convo about our cars and how much we were enjoying them. This was both of our first time seeing another tC on the road. It was a lot of fun. After this, it has been all downhill with other owners. Anytime I see another tC I try to wave or do something to acknowledge that they are as cool as me. I fear that I am doing this for nothing as I have come to realize that they are not. They are not cool. They are stuck up. I know some of you are probably going to say "hey, I try to say hi or talk to other tC owners as well" well my friends, I wills ay that we are not the norm. We are all here cause we enjoy our cars and the people that drive them as well. That is why we post here. The other ones are "Camry" owners who do not have a clue as we do.

Ok, rant off.

. .. if people ask about the tC, i let them know everything .. . :D

even about the sunroof/hatch rattling. . ..

. . but as for the azzhole part, that pretty much true, but aren't we all . ..

.. . i will often buzz people in 350z, honda, other so called rides .. . it can't be a ride if the driver babies the thing all the time . . .what's the point in getting a 350z if you're not going to use it .. . ?????????

. . its better than dealing with an eagles fan .. . .

I actually had some guy in a brand new 350Z stop to tell me that he liked my car. :D Made me feel all warm and tingly that someone else with a nice car likes the tC as well. People that own other cars seem to pay more attention and want to know about it.

As far as people babying thier sports cars.....I don't get it either. I mean of course you should take damn good care of it but you have to open em up too. Thats what they were made for.

I totally agree with the _______ statement, of course not everbody though. Some people need to remember that this is only a 17k car, I think people take it to be more than it is. Now dont get me wrong, I LOVE MY tC, but do not in any way see it equal to my Dad's Porsche 997 or any other exotics.

At my college I was driving out (going slow because lots of crosswalks), and right next to me happens to be another tC! I have dark tint so I unroll my windows, but that person had dark tint to, and just kept going like nothing happened. Bastard, Just wanted to say "nice car". It was an ugly color anyway

It isn't just tC owners. I've noticed that when I'm out in my xB that if I wave to any other Scion, no body gives a s**t. I just think it's kinda sad really. A lot of owners of diffrent types of cars (vettes, vipers, beetles, etc.) wave to each other (my dad had a vette, I know from experience). Our cars are just as special as theres are.

If you think tC owners are bad, try the Ford Super Duty Diesel guys over at http://forums.thedieselstop.com/ubbthreads/

My dad has an '02 F250 SD 7.3l diesel 4x4 Crewcab 6spd and he's tried being friendly to other SD owners like at gas stations and they just blow em off and dont give a ____ (probably because they had the POS gas engine)

Yeah the other day on the way home from school I saw another black tC, I was so excited because up until then I had never seen any others than mine. It turned out that when he passed by me he had to at least be sixty. I was a little mad, but really couldnt help laughing.

HEY!! I'm a 30 (something) yearold driving my xB to work and nobody waves to me. I freakin wave like a dope and never get any love back... and its getting now where I see quite a few Scions on a daily basis. Mostly xAs and Boxes tho. Either there aren't many tCs out around where I drive or I just don't notice them as much.

But I think most people just don't pay attention.

i think it could b that some people get upset when they see another scion of anykind because since their new, they want 2 be the only person with 1. but just today at my work a guy came in with a tc and we got talking about em and what was coming out soon 4 it and he was really cool. THIS IS NOT A JAB> i would expect a bad attitude 2 come more from xb owners though because they seem 2 be so hung up on being unique that u would think they would hate 2 see anyone else with their car.(i dont own 1 though so i dunno, thats just the vibe i get)

Anytime I see another tC I try to wave or do something to acknowledge that they are as cool as me

Yeah, real cool there....Frantically trying to get the other drivers attention to "acknowledge" how cool they are for driving a tC. ...Real smooth there poindexter....

Here's a workable definition for you.

COOL --- marked by calm self-control (especially in trying circumstances); unemotional; unspoken charisma;

I don't think so. I've seen people do this ____. I'm the "_______" that prefers not to acknowledge these hand-waving monkeys...
