tC photshop by me
2nd looks pretty decent, though not a color i would want on my car..tint looks funny.first one...the back rim looks crooked, or in a turned positions or smthg..dunno what u did...look by the tail light..looks weird..also not a color i would want, and it's not realistically applied..it just doesn't look like paint....good job on your first photoshop experience though...

for color i used a combo of cutting an outline of the car isolating it from the other layers-paintbucket a couple times with different colors and changed layer to soft color.
i burned myself over working it and trying to make it look better than the first one that i jst burned myself out n got lazy

the blending mode should be to color. the colors and the general level of the image is too much and off because of that... very unrealistic.
play with the program some more.. you'll find out what works better.

The way I do it is I make an outline of the car with the Pen tool. Then I go and remove areas with the deselect feature of the pen tool that I dont want to change color, headlights, etc. CTRL + Click on the outline and create a new layer and then fill it with a color. Make the outline invisible. Then to make the color look nice I use the Color blend mode. And you can actually get some really nice realistic looking colors that way. Ill probably post a few examples of what my stuff looks like later on.

took all day today
