Default tC Replacement?

I went on Chicago Auto Show's website to find out the dates. And I happened to came across a page that shows three categories for this year’s show. “Production, Debut, and Concept,” so I clicked onto debut hoping to see whatever is taking over the tC’s spot.

Nothing? Only Toyota was '09 Corolla. Anyone know WTF is going on? I know the rumor about '09 Scion xR; a rally car: like the Mitsubishi Lancer? TMC doing last minute; to add in suspense

I'll probably go on the first day. I need to buy a new nice digital camera and I'll take some shots of whatever is going to be there. I'll post them within minutes of me walking through the door for everyone to view.

I agree with you! Some are just so wrong; makes me want to rest my head down low. I've been going to these shows ever since I was six and I seen some that were "WTF! IS THAT!"

Ya, I think you'd be more likely to see the RS4 than the tC replacement...

x2 that absolutely red color they should'a had standard on the color line up too or something Rally Red. and I would rather have nice wheel package than getting another alcantara seat? They need to come up with new kicks or it'll be another boring RS

I always thought cool metallic orange on a tc would rock.

But of course orange is my favorite color.

typical "2010 Scion model year" release? ie, February of 2009?

if Scion pulls an xB on the tC (bigger, fatter, heavier, more boring) I'll definitely be looking elsewhere when my 5 year loan is paid off (in '09, what a coincidence...)

i think orange would be awesome too. its something different for a tC. to me the rs1 stands out. when i see a rs2 it reminds me of the civic si blue color. someone correct me i dont know the paint color on them.

Civic Si color? EBP or electron blue pearl. But yeah, I'd say the Scion brand is starting to "blend in" now. I almost NEVER see a RS3 tC or the RS1 for the matter. Same goes for the RS1 and 2 xA as well as the RS1 xB. They almost don't exist aroud here. The only red xA we had, the guy painted it green and black! what a waste. I almost always see the grandma's rockint he RS2 and 3 xB's. oh yeah, there was a yellow xB too. don't see many of those either.

Blitz Blue is the RS2 color and to me it seems a bit brighter than the Civic Si color. Personally, I think the RS1 and RS2 really stand out and are more of what a release series should be. The RS3 is nice but the color is essentially an off white which I find quite dull...

.... i was sad to learn that the tC will have a 2009 model .
.... they have ready changed the grill & taillights in '08 .
.... so what can they do to "freshen" it up...different wheels 7 a hood scoop , not going to do it .
... from 3yr. to 5yr. body designs , you're losing it .
.... better have some bold colors , not all this dark crap .
.... sizzling crimson ..ha

The xA and xB had really long 2006 model years so technically they were around 4 years. I have a feeling that the tC will do that too for 2008. I think that plenty of new 2008 tCs will be on the lots this time next year. After that, the new one will probably be out spring 2009 as a 2010.
