Default tC Review on CarsDirect

I just came upon a nice review of the tC on www.carsdirect.com
Sorry if this was already posted...
http://www.carsdirect.com/research/s...5/base/reviews

The review is pretty cool, but I did get a kick out of the irony of this part:
The standard panorama glass roof is an unexpected bonus in this price class, fitted without gaskets for a tight, no-creaks fit
:?

500 miles and not a single creak for me yet (and on some of Seattle's "finest" roads, too). Maybe the tester was from a later run.

Yeah, there is some squeeking coming from the front. Sounds like it is either the front seat or near the radio area.

There are so many creaks, I can't even pinpoint them anymore.

Even road, flat road, black road, yellow road, it doesn't matter.

Can we automate putting one Nick complaint post in every tC forum, or maybe a sticky? I'm starting to feel sorry for all the work the guy's going through just to complain to the fullest extent possible.

Thats a great idea. Would save me time of having to inform people about these cars and prevent them from making a mistake like I did.

If there is someway to make an autoreply then go for it. I'm all for it.

Except you're only informing them about YOUR car, which sorta screws you up if you should ever need to sell it.

I haven't seen a single person's desire to buy a tC publicly change after one of your posts.

Nope, but I've had tons of people email me, AIM me, and contact me about my TC and several friends TCs and thanks to my service they have decided not to get one. I've talked atleast 4-5 locals out of them. So far I think I've saved about 10 people from getting TCs which is my small part to make this a better place.

And none of them saw fit to let anyone but you know that they weren't getting a tC? :?

I drive over the San Rafael bridge every day. it's got big 1/2" metal plates bolted to the deck every 50 feet or so for a stretch. makes for a pretty sucky drive. you'll spill your redbull if you're taking a drink when you drive over them. but I haven't heard a single squeak or peep from my car when I go over them. the VAST majority of tC's have no problems. as I said to you before, any product that's manufactured on an assembly line is gonna have a small percentage that has problems, be it cars, drills, washing machines, jet planes, whatever.

your tC seems to have everything wrong with it that could happen to it in this or any other universe. you are the exception. the rest of us tC owners are tired of your complaints. please limit your complaints to one thread so we can avoid that thread.

The cover over the radio tends to bounce a little when you go over bumpy areas (go figure, a moving part that moves) and causes a squeaking noise. If it annoys you too much you can leave it down (or probably just remove it).

What did the dealership say about all your problems when you took it in to get it fixed?

Keep up the good work. Keeps the car more rare.
