Default tC RS1.0 Market Value?

I thinking of stepping up into a 370Z and I'm wondering about how much I could expect to get for my RS1. It's in very good condition, 35k miles, never tracked or raced, subwoofer + ipod integration, all TRD parts: intake, exhaust, springs, short shift.

KBB gives me about 12.3k private party value for a regular tC, but that doesnt factor in the TRD upgrades or that it's an RS1. What would be a reasonable asking price?

In my shopping around, I have noticed a higher cost for RS1's. Problem is, if you're not selling to kids into tuning cars, people will take the mods as a sign of beating on the car, despite your good honest word.

That's about as good as you are going to get IMO. Car values have tanked on all models in that past year.

it wasnt $15,500. i think MSRP was around $18,500? its by far the best RS model they've made. 18" wheels, floor mats, seats, oil cap, batter tie down, door sills, front strut bar and the best part....the grill. i might be leaving something out?

Wow, that's disappointing to hear =/ Was hoping this could take a decent sized chunk out of the Base-Sport Z's 33k price tag =/ Hopefully I can use the rarity and "numbered limited edition" to my advantage. Also, since the all parts are available through dealerships anyway, I don't see how the mods would have too much of a negative impact. They're basically optional TRD sport stuff straight from Toyota's sales department. I wanted to keep it that way on purpose to keep it legit and mainstreem for whenever I sold it. I've noticed nothing is worse to a "normal" perspective buyer than a jungle of random off-brand/unfamiliar parts in a used car.

Problem is I'm not ready to sell quite yet, and I can't really throw it up on autotrader or craigslist to price-fish untill I've moved forward in working out financing the Z a little more.

Actually the MSRP for a base tC (5spd) was $16k + destination (which varried). That's what my window sticker says (which is tucked away in a folder somewhere).

Don't count on your 4 yr old car to retain too much of that value just because it's a special edition or special color. Unless you can find someone specifically looking for that car, no one will care. The only thing really on your side is the mileage.

And the used car market doesn't care about your aftermarket parts - TRD or not. Again, unless you can find someone specifically looking for those options (unlikely), they won't help you at all.
