Hi All:

I did not take the car out for a day. I got all the snow off my car and I noticed at when i was around 70+ mph the car was shaking like i was riding over many speed bumps. It was a shake the was like on my old car when it needed to be high speed balanced.

Any ideas what this is from? I will take it out again later and see if it presists.

Is there any snow in your wheels? I had that happen to me before, if snow is packed in the wheel it will make it off balance.

There is most likely snow in the wheels. Even if i clean it out it will be packed by the time i get back to the highway. Is this normal?

 

If you give me your AVIC-N1, then I promise to allign your car AND your tire presure.

tC's have a tire pressure monitor standard.

 

my guess is mud or snow in the wheels.

I am sure the alignment is fine. If not you can rest assured scion will be fixing that the second i get on the lot.

I checked pressure a few days ago. Ill have to give that another look. Had no indicators on the dash going off.

 

Good News is your car is obviously under warranty.

you've got the perfect tC, flint Mica with a Avic n1, what more do you need? If your car was stick I'd call it the perfect tC.

How many miles on it? You might need tires balanced and rotated.

what exactly is an Avis-N1, clearly audio related, and im guessing a head unit or touch screen.

you might want to inspect your wheels for ice or snow.. best thing I found was to spray them down in a car wash (hot water obviously) and then go drive it so the water gets spun out.. has happened before..

if it's not snow or ice.. then take it back to the dealer, may be a defective tire.. stranger things have happened..

 

It is completely normal!!!!!! The tC has soft tires is are all low profile tires... what happened was.... the tires froze in one position & once the tires heat up (usually after 4-5 miles) the bumping goes away.

maybe one of your one of your springs broke....just a guess

 

it must be something that happens in every single tC, because they are crappy cars, and built like crap, sell it and buy another they are so crappy!
