Default tC is SOLD—New Build Begins

I loved the tC while I had it and I had no problems with it whatsoever. (Aside from the inherent rattles). I wish that my new ride has as much build quality as the tC, but it is a GM after all. *Someone actually offered me $18,500 for the tC , so I couldn't pass that up.

With a few parts on order already, I plan to shoot for ~600 rwhp to start with and I'll see how much $$ I have left by the end of the build. I'm starting by building up the drivetrain and I will work my way up to the engine. Doug Rippie will be tuning me up in a few months, too.

So long ScionLife. It was nice getting to know many of you, but the politics of forums such as this have gotten to me. There were a few people on here that I just didn't get along well with (ie tcizzle, scion_jon) and I'm sorry if I acted like a jerk to you at one time or another. No hard feelings.

I'm out!

Not exactly practical, but I don't mind driving a Matrix around as a DD. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with a Vette. It's the ONLY modern American car I'd buy!

The day a sports car/supercar/exotic becomes 'practical' will be the day I stop driving. I won't worry about it man, that's one hell of a car...

I was actually going to stop down there later this month. Cecil Raceway is having a "Corvettes Only Day" and I was going to stop there afterwards. I heard a lot of good things about that shop.

I know. I can't wait to see what this thing will be able to do in 3-4 months.

Thanks. I couldn't believe it either when my friend was talking about my car and offered that much money! Totally out of the blue. Didn't even try to get me to go lower on the price.

my dad has a 95 c4 and an 01 c5, he drives alternates between them every week depending on where he is going and if he feels like driving stick. they are great cars. they are both with the glass hatches so they have pretty good cargo room. now if you have to drive with more than one other person, yeah, it is impractical.
