Default TC soon to come....a few questions

Hey what's up...I've basically been lurking the forums now for a few weeks to find out if a tc is the right car for me and I've pretty much decided on it (going with Classic Silver). I know there's a few issues with the car like the hatch rattle and the 'service campaign' on the wind deflector, but I'm willing to take the risk since I'm sure other cars have their own issues as well. I've been driving a 99 Jetta now for a year and worked my a** off so I've got about 20K with a little help from the parents (queue a flood of spoiled kid posts). I went and checked out a couple in the area and was impressed, and another guy at school picked up a BSP a few months ago. Anyway, I plan on getting the lip kit, scion security, mats (obviously), Blue LED (corny, I know), Shift pedal covers, and the upgraded Pioneer with the Ipod deal. My question; is there another place to pick up any of these accessories for cheaper? A while back someone I think recommended Sparks Toyota, but that's all I've heard (except to avoid TCTunerz like the plague). Down the road I'm also gonna do a Tein drop, s2k antenna, creative compacts short shifter, and tint. What places would you guys recommend for ordering aftermarket stuff? Thanks in advance,

-Mike

EBAY Everything your looking for is there, for example.....those pedals and mats you can get here along with the cargo net for only 138 dollars!!!! Is that crazy or what!!! As for the upgraded stereo...why even bother? 20k is cool you can get, If I were you i would get performance accessories. I got my Flint Mica for 18k cash, only came with that SRS curtain airbag system, I told my dad get the cheapest one since you can find everything from the factory for less off of different websites. So good luck with the car lad

Good choice on Classic Silver that is the color we got. It has the pedestal spoiler, Side air bags, ground fx, foglights mats. We are planning on gettin the underdash lights, and the rear bumper applique.

Awesome, yeah I also have the money I get from my Jetta so I was thinking about waiting maybe a year and then doing a stage 1 turbo and dumping about 1500 into suspension upgrades. I also gotta think about my last two years of college (attending right now and getting my associates before high school's over) so we'll see how it plays out.

We have this thing called running start at my high school so I go to college and high school. I started this year (junior) and I'll have my associates a couple months after I graduate from high school.

Hey...the blue led's are cool. I have them and they rock. I also have underbody blues too...but heh, its a personal decision I guess.

For mats, I got chrome mats for 79,99+20 shipping. Yep, chrome floor mats...front and back. Looks awesome with the blue leds.

For lowering.....only one guy to goto....RANDODE. He will lower your ride with Goldline Springs....these are the best.

Upgraded Stereo...dont do it, just use the aux input for your ipod. And put the 250.00 savings towards a sub/amp package.

For the TINT, just let your dealer do it. They charged me 199.00 for it. Not much more expensive than a local shop doing it. And you have it done at delivery!

Good luck and have fun with your new car when you get it...you'l love it.
