TC trade in and get how much?
Hey no need to be harsh i believe my question was tell me how much they got? not how much I''ll get. So basically I'm just seeing what people are getting and because I'm online late night I just can't wait to find out for myself at the dealership and that is why i made this post
I'd suggest thinking through trading in your Scion. Dealers will one way or another preserve their profits. Either they will offer you about $500 to a thousand below wholesale (see Kelly Blue Book, www.kbb.com) or they will offer what appears to be an attractive trade-in value but charge you on the backend (finance charges if you finance through the dealer).
If you can afford to loose a few thousand dollars (by trading in your tC) then trading in is the way to go . This save you time but in the end you pay for the convenience.
If you take a little time and sell your tC yourself, you can use the money saved to pay for that new RS 3.0.
I also strongly suggest getting your financing preapproved before going to the dealer. Dealerships are not banks and as such tack on their margin (profit) in additional financing (about .5 to 1.5% to the interest rate). I would suggest going to CapitalOne (www.capitalone.com). You will by far get a better deal when you go outside the dealer for your financing.
As an example, I purcahsed my 2007 tC and arranged financing beforehand at 5.5%. It was a simple online process and they mailed me the instructions and check to take to the dealer when I payed for my car. The best the dealer could offer me was 6.5%.
Good luck and enjoy that RS 3.0

i have an 06 too with everything you got except the momo pedals and i went to see what i would get and the dealer was only gonna give me 12,500 so i laughed in their face first and then told them to go shuv it, oh and mine has not even 7,000 miles on it
amnsantiago they kind of gave you for what I fully paid for mines and i don't think side curtain airbags is gonna give you that much more. And I believe you should get less money because of after market products.
i know.ime not expecting they buy it for how much i bought it for.that's why I took it. I went back a week after just to check how much they're selling my car. they sold it for 4 $20,500..
