I figured this thread might aleviate some of the VS. flooding we've got going on in here. personally i dont think any of these cars can compete with the tC. the Altima is really good but its a completely different car style and everything.
i got all these figures from the auto compare at msn.com
if you want real numbers and such, go to the websites and do the build thing to figure it out for yourselves.

He picked the 4 banger BECAUSE the tC is a 4 BANGER!! It's not like we're going to compare a V12 to a V6 or anything. Just the Same Car Class
on a side note
Hyndai Sucks
Biggest Mistake of my Life. I was Laughed at when i had a Hyndai, now its my turn to laugh at those who have a Hyndai

those specs for the Spec V are kinda off. I dont think any magazine (as much as I hate mag racing) ever tested a Spec and ran below a 15.6 or 15.5. Most stock specs run 15.1 to 15.5 and trap between 89 to 90Mph. And there never was any automatic Spec Vs.

Hyundai > Yuo.
Hyundai's are actually very reliable now and nice. JD power reports them having better initial quality than toyota. You must of bought an ugly old ___ hyundai.
true. old hyundai's = ugly as sin.
but my gt v6 > tc in what i need, aka performance, handling and looks *looks is my opinion tho everyone is different* and also the power potential in the tib is greater.
oh yeah i got my tib for 16,200 : )

Actually JD Power Quality rankings on refers to the first 90-days of ownership. Scion was really low but even lower is Porshe...which really does not make any sense.
More importantly JD Power's Dependability (reliability) rating was release 2-months after the quality rating. The result: Hyundai and Kia are last place, Toyota-Lexus, Honda, and Porshe carried the Top three dependability spots. This rating is more stringent as it carries over a three year period of ownership.

Don't get me wrong, you have a fantastic car, but the "power potential" is hardly greater. Also, take a look at both suspensions. The tC's is far superior. Some stickier rubber and a bigger rear anti roll bar to counter understeer, and we'll see ya later.
