Naw I thought about getting brighter LEDs for the LCD but I didnt..Just stayed with the Same ones..

Overall this mod is rated at a 8 outa 10 scale for difficulty..

U need to be careful when your doing this..

The Gauge cluster was easier to do...and took no time..the center console took longer..esp. the LCD Screen. UGH..

ALSO when taking all that stuff apart... did you notice the manufacturer/supplier of any ofthe parts? cluster... Climate control panel.. etc?

Tanks a lot bro.
Yeah Dimmer still works..

Pretty sure its the same voltage as stock..

Just becareful when doing this..and try not to mess it up.. LOL

I didnt notice any thing on the parts dealing w/ manufacturer...Some of the panels said TOYOTA on them..

i prolly wont be attempting this.

If i was you.. Id make some money doing this. Have people send you a cluster and you do your work, and you send it back.

make some cash that way...

hell, id pay 10bucks shipping, and 50bucks labor to have you do it, rather than go through the work myelf.. The more you do it, the faster you can do it to.

then again, whoever sends out thier cluster will be w/o a car for the time you have it... the clusters are vin matched i would assume? so you cant do teh whole core exchange thing....

Funny you should mention that...

In one of the original posts about this I was offering my services FREE OF CHARGE. Only need to send me the cluster, LED's and postage and I'll do the labor.

I work for a company where I solder stuff 10x smaller than this on a daily basis. I've got high quality Metcal and Weller soldering stations and all the proper tools to do the job correctly.

Only had a few people interested so far.

Anyone else want to take up my offer?

Has anyone found light blue led's like the one on the high beem. I think that color all around would look awesome. Is the center console harder to see than with the amber lights?
