Default TCTunerz Header put out how much HP?!

I recently talked to TCTunerz Admin, and they are waiting for the Dyno Results on the Header they designed..and he told me that to Expect almost 50HP Gain?! I was like What?! R U Serious?!

I dont know if it was true or not..But I dont think U can get that much from a Header..My Question is: Do you think this header will be better then the DC Sports Header, HP Gain wise and Torque Wise..I mean I could wait for the Dyno but..I wanna see what everyone else on here thinks

I heard DC Sports is a Good Brand..

No possible way to get 50hp out of a header.

Im guessing around 12-15whp with the header alone. Looks to be a great design and the o2 bung is right where it needs to be.

Ahhh, I just noticed its carb legal. Or at least its got a highflow cat. This is the header Im getting!!!!!!
I hope its not loud with the TRD exhaust. :?

I dont know. TRD + DC Header = Nasty Sound

As I said, the tC Tuneres header has a resonator which looks to be a highflow cat. Anytime a highflow cat is installed in an exhaust system it usually brings the tone down a lot.

Yeah..True.

On my Magnaflow Catback my Resinator is removed..So I think with the DC Sports it'll be LOUD..

But I think the TC one, It'll be nice.

Which will have more GAIN tho

50hp - no, but I'd rather have a header with a cat than one without it. So tCTunerz gets my vote, of course pending a dyno...

Isn't TCTunerz being accused of stealing from people?

I was on AIM with the guy last couple of days - he is still waiting for the dyno results. There is no official "claims" yet.

50 hp?!?! I'm gonna go ahead and call BS on that one. Looks good and the cat is a definate plus. Pending dyno results I would probably still get the tctunerz manifold.

Really?!?! Maybe I wont be getting the header from them??

The header seems to be made really nicely. Plus a lifetime warranty.
I want some dyno numbers. I really hope they dyno with the exhaust connected.

Its pretty cheap. I looked it up, $264 isnt too bad but shipping brings it up to $299.

Still cheaper than the DC Sport and WAY cheaper than the Weapon-R

50? or 15?

Even Ls1 v8's don't get 50 hp from header, let a lone a 2.4L engine

Nobody said that tCTunerz header makes 50hp. At least nobody from tCTunerz did. So how about we stop with assumptions and wait for the dyno.

Conventional wisdom is that headers increase horsepower by a maximum of 5%, usually less. On a 160 hp engine, that would be 8 horsepower.

On the other hand, if you had a 1000 HP engine, 50 HP would be feasible...
