Default TheHundreds702 Build Thread PG 3 new pictures 4/22

Sadly I don't have any pictures of my baby stock, but im sure we all know what a 2007 super white tc looks like by now stock. Excuse the lack of pictures, but I promise this thread will be updated very soon, as 2011 is going to be a good year for my tc.

This is how she sits right now.

My first mod was my tint, second came the trd springs.
I was sick of the stock orange interior so I had Sean from LEDMOD.com set me up with a blue/white full LED conversion. Also later came back for the 8000k hid 55w kit. I was sick of the stockies and wanted some rims, but didn't have much to spend, i picked up these rims for cheap they are JAZ Infinites 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back, I like the look better than stock but still they aren't my style really. But all that will be taken care of soon enough .

As for my latest and favorite mod would have to be my stereo, im running a JVC deck with navigation/dvd/ipod support, and have 2 polk amps in the back a monoblock for my subs (running 4 8" rockford fosgates at 1 ohm) and then the 4 channel amp for my door speakers (polk db's with seperate tweeters custom mounted to fit stock locations and on the pillars in the back) I love this setup, this system hits harder than any of my friends with 12" subs, they are amazed at the sound quality this thing puts out. The box itself is fully enclosed and the top lid that is siliconed in is actually 3/4" plexiglass, there is 3 blue led strips in the box that light it up at night as you can see from the pictures below. Check out the vid below for some more shots of the car/system.

**FIRST DAY WITH MY NEW CANON VIDS WILL GET BETTER!**

Its the new year and business has been good so this year im switching everything up, first up is to get some proper rims.
I put my order in on monday with Weksos Industries for some new rims however I dont want to let the details out too soon.
7-8 weeks from now this thread will be updated with pics as soon as I get the rims.

Im done with the blacked out tail light look as well so my order went in for some anzo red/clear taillights, and a oznium full red TBL. Also a badgeless garnish is in the mail somewhere as well (hopefully).

The new rims Im getting wont look proper unless I go LOWWW so did some research and settled on these bad boys that came in the mail today.

Last update for today is my leggdura lugs that came in for my rims, 7-8 week wait now , lets go.

My next big decision is to go five axis kit, or oem gfx kit?
Any opinions?!

I hate the oem rear for some reason, so maybe a combo of five axis rear and oem front and sides? anyone seen or have an example of this?

Ive had my car for a year now and decided it was time to make a proper introduction thread.

Shoutouts to
Mengmotorsports~
Weksos Industries~
LEDMOD.com~

**UPDATE 3/20/2011**

Finally got my coilovers on, new rims, new tail lights, and new tbl. Went from this:

to this:

she is now sitting on SSR SP1's 18x10 all around.
Rear fenders are shaved for now, waiting to pull them and the fronts to go lower, also have some more items to install in the next couple of weeks.
So which do you like before or after?
let me know! and thanks for looking.

808tc (I believe) has the 5a front, OEM kit sides, and rs1 1-piece rear. Pure sex.

Well since sub boxes are usually fully enclosed, they sound just as if it was a enclosure made of any other material, basically my subs are reverse mounted like this example here

but on the side not seen in the picture, my enclosure is plexi rather than mdf like the rest of the box so you can see the face of the sub, also I didn't port mine
make sense?

Hmm little bit confused still. Is the entire sub still in a box under the plexi or is it exposed like that picture

its exposed exactly like that picture, ill take pictures of it and show you, the sub still functions just like it would if you mounted it in a box, but instead now you don't require as big of a box because the sub takes up most of the air displacement.

UPDATE w/ PICS
MORE PICS OF MY SYSTEM

As you can see my subs are wired in parallel which means all chained together so I can run my Polk 600.1 amp at one ohm. They are each 4 ohms single voice coil. The box itself is made out of MDF light, and is laminated to match the interior, also there is a board underneath that everything is attached to, I screwed the box down through the carpet so It still resembles stock interior, the amps them selves are screwed through the carpet to the board as well. As you can see in the above pic I have a 2.0 farad capacitor thats mounted behind my subs.

This next picture shows my LED's a little better that are mounted inside the box itself, they are all ran together and goes to my amps external power so they come on with the amp.

A view from the back for anyone interested

Here is my controllers for my amps that I mounted in the glove box

Also heres one if anyone wanted to know where my rear tweeters were mounted

One thing I forgot to add in my original post is that I have a Injen air intake, TRD axelback, and a Doc Isotope short shifter.

Also as an update, I ordered my gfx front lip and side skirts from TrdSparks, now I just need to pick between rs1 rear or five axis rear, any thoughts?
thanks!

Oh whats thats a clever way of making the sub box! Might have to use an idea like that when im re-doing my trunk design.

How did you manage to get the box air tight with the plexi though?
