I know it's no haggle and on an 08 there would really be no reason to have a rebate at this point but just thought I would ask as I would feel silly if I missed out...

Did you think you bought a cell phone? The cars cheap enought, thats why theres no haggle.

 

there was a college rebate awhile back, but i dont think theres a rebate going on right now.

 

most likely the salesman will keep saying something about scions pure pricing over and over again...

 

I think the college rebate is still on but that's about all I see out there... figure there won't be, at least for a while, but never hurts to check around

 

Employee Discount?

 

College rebate is still around, however Toyota Finanacial requires that you have a copy of your diploma, paystub, clean credit report (CANNOT have anything bad!) and finance the car with TFS.



and there is no employee disscount ....

nope i sell them and purchased 3 scions so far with no discount

 

after you graduated from a credited college/university, Toyota/Scion will give you a $500 rebate. All you need to do is show proof like someone said a few post up.

 

Damn, I would have qualified for that.

 

i got the $500 recent college grad rebate when i bought mine. they just need to verify the graduation and run a credit check.

 

What about toyota employees? (I thought dealers were separate from the mothership, albiet that still sucks you don't get any discount.)

they are cheap enough as they are already, along with the dealership making next to nil for each sale.
