I'm thinking of trading in my RS2 for an 07 flint mica. What does everyone think? I love the flint mica. The stock tc wheels are so much nicer also, plus I heard it is a little more powerful cuz of the way they changed to dyno cars. I also want to be supercharged, but I heard lots of problems with the 06. Any advice? How much does everyone think I should get if I trade in at a dealership?

 

I never understood why people would trade in a new car for the same exact car...

why not get something better?

 

also take into consideration of how much you owe on your car, and how much its actually worth. the negative balance would be added on to the new tc. and like l4rry b1rd said, why not get a better car?

Why not wait for the 08 tC?? They should be here soon.

what do you mean by 07s have nicer stock wheels?? They're the same wheels that you have ;P

The RS2 wheels are the same disign, but a satin finish. Not as shiny.

the 07's only have a debatable 1 hp gain from 05-06. So technically they arent any more powerful. Also if you get an 07, unless its the RS3, your gonna have one just like every other tC of whatever color you choose on the road. Atleast your RS2 is less common. If you really dont want that color you can always have it repainted.

 

keep your car it will be cheaper to repaint it..

 

o, wow, if i had RS2 i would never trade it in, i think later on it will have a much better re-sale value since they are limited production cars of 2500, oh btw in my opinion you will loose so much just to change colors on the same car.

The 07 is more like an 11 HP gain over 06. They redid the way engines are dyno'd for 07, even though it only reflects 161, Ive heard to 06 standards it would be more like 171.

 

For the difference you would have to pay, you could probably get a turbo.

 

where was this stated? i dont think the 5spd 07 tC's are 171hp. That would be crazy. I should have waited for an 07 if that was the case then.

 

or buy your self the new 5 axis kit, that alone add 12 hp
