So I've got a door rattle, and I can't remember if I started hearing it before or after I had the windows tinted...my question is: when someone does a tint job, do they remove the door panels?

 

if the tinter does quality work, then he/she probably did take off the door panels. it shouldn't rattle because of that, scion door panels are probably the easiest doors to take off. and there is hardly anything to break in these panels.

it all varies... i got solar guard with lifetime warranty... 5 windows, 2 front, 2 side rear, and rear windshield all for 130 hehe its great knowing the right people, if my tint ever fades, discolors, peels, bubbles, etc. i can go to any solar gaurd dealer and have it fixed for free

yeah, if you don't care about having a crappy tint job. believe me, when i retint a car that has already been tinted, i can always tell if the panels were taken off.

 

i paid $90 for the 5 windows (side, rear side, rear windshield) with solar guard also...yes, hook ups are nice :D

 

Um, yes, if you think about it you can easily figure out why the interior door panels would need to be removed to do a proper tinting job...
