Tire Pressure Gauge Warning Lights
I have a 2005 Scion TC and I have about 35K on it right now. My tire indicator warning light is coming on now and I'm perplexed as to why. The tire indicator light has been coming on for some time now. I checked the tire pressure of all tires and it's fine. I also checked the tread and it's fine. I hit the reset button in the glove box and it goes off for awhile but eventually comes back on. Any ideas as to what's causing this?
**I deleted the brake warning light part of this post - I was able to find that it was either the pads or low fluid.**

If its colder out, there might be some air leaking out of one of the tires in the morning. I had a simiar problem a few weeks back. The funny thing is I Had the break light come on too. But I checked my fluid and it wasnt all the way up to the full line, I filled it up to the full line and then it went away. And the tires, just check them in the morning befroe you move the car.
I dont know if that helps but it worked for me. :D Good luck!

the brake light probably indidcates that you need brake fluid or new brake pads.
the tire pressure monitor shouldn't be going off because of the cold temperature alone. 05-06 use the abs wheel speed sensor to detect if a wheel is spinning slower than the others.
did you have them rotated recently and somebody forgot to reset them?

Mine has started going on but only once in a blue moon. Then I drove on a local 55-45 mph highway that connects Wisconsin and Illinois; a highway with million stoplights. Kept going on & off everytime I had to leadfoot. It's been a week long problem.
I'm thinking it's linked to me needing new tires. I have barely enough tread for grip and I'm guessing the brakes are trying to let the tires go but tires aren't keeping up cause I do hear screeching.
My tC has 54,xxx miles so it's REALLY in time for me to get new tires.

Yeah - I removed part of my post about the brake warning light. I found the sticky on it under common issues. It seems it's either the fluid is low or needs new brake pads or both. I would say it needs new brake pads because the fluid looks good.
Now that I think of it, I think that the tire sensor started coming on after I had a tire put on it at Sears. How do you reset it? I know that the button in the glovebox only resets it for a little while and then it comes back on.

You can reset the tire pressure warning light by pushing the reset switch for a few seconds to make the warning light go off. If the light still remains on or blinks once every second, you might want it checked by the dealer.
if the light blinks twice every second, the tire pressure monitoring system needs to be initialized-
To initialize the system , have the ignition in the ON position.
push the reset switch in the glovebox for a few seconds until the warning light goes off.
push and hold the reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.
Initialization is completed after driving at the speeds of 19mph or over for more than one hour.
Don't push the reset switch while the vehicle is moving or initialization will not be performed.
(all this is on the owner's manual as well)

Mine did the same thing as well, for quite some time. But I just got my tires replaced and it stopped. So maybe you need new tires? Or maybe you just need to rotate/align them since the 05-06 TPMS uses the ABS.
Most tire pressure gauges are signaled by radio frequency and can be damaged pretty easily when you have inexperienced tire techs changing your tires. Sounds like that were either damaged or some type of "fluid" like Fix-A-Flat was put in the tire.
