Default Tire pressure light is on

I just got new wheels and tires and my light comes on. My sizes are
Wheels 18x7.5
Tires 225/40/18

Any idea which of these things caused this? I am guess its the 225? I wondered the following
1. How to fix it
2. (kind of like 1) how to shut it off
3. if 215/40/18 would fit this wheel
4 and last but not least I read throughout this forum how bigger wheels and such will decrease mileage, but I have yet to come cross a average decrease in mileage. And I don't think its a "it depends how you drive" thing because if you drive nice or like you stole it you would probably statistically have the same drop in milage, even though your not getting the same. Oh, and the wheels weigh 24 lbs ea.

Thanks in advance guys

well, 24 pounds is not a huge increase in weight since the stock ones are like 19 pounds.

anyway, learn to read your owners manual. you need to reset the tpms system in your glove box. you like have to hold it down for like certain amount of time.

I know how to read...I don;t need smart @$$ answers. I didn;t know if this was a case to just shut it off and then not worry, or if 225/40/18 was some type of problem that needed attention of a different sort.
