what a pita! i took my car to a couple of local car washes and they told me it was to low to go through. DENIED! so my car looks clean( thank you tein s-tech), but still real dirty( damn you tein s- tech). at least some of the dirt will fling off when cornering hard huh.

 

f1nch are there any of those car washes where you park and then stuff goes crazy all around your car? they have those all over in florida, but i cant find any up here in ny

 

and with all this talk about weak paint on the tC!

They will hand wash it at those places for an extra charge. If I were you I'd do it myself.

 

doesn't matter if it's clean or dirty it still looks oh so beautiful with that drop... at least mine does

 

i agree, it looks good either way. i was just being lazy cause it takes me morning til night to do the whole thing. im a little bummed thats all.

 

dont worry. i went to three shops to get my car aligned and not a damn one will touch it since its lowered

 

those touchless car washes are a major rip off. for just the suds and a rinse and air dry, it's $7.
for suds, wheel cleaner, undercar cleaner, "wax", and air dry it's like $11.
totally not worth it. it looks so much better when i do it by hand

Touchless IS pricey but It beats rubbing swirlmarks into your car during a winter wash. I hate winter...

California has been great. But yesterday i was ____ed! out of nowhere IT RAINED!!!!! all day long..and it was car warshin day! i was ____ed! so now my tC has to ride all week until saturday with freakin dead bugs on it! (spring time lots of bugs flying) GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

But to be honest with you. I would never take my car to a car wash EVER!
1. You can save money and do it yourself and be more proud of it, and it will look better then any care wash place.

2. You can use the good products not that cheap ___ stuff the car wash places use.

3. At home there are less risks of people hitting your car or scratching it when you are doing it yourself.

4. OTHER PEOPLE WONT TOUCH OR DRIVE YOUR tC IF YOU DO IT YOURSELF!!!

5. DONT LET PEOPLE DRIVE YOUR tC HA!

 

i really don't trust car washes. unless it's a reputable auto detail shop, i'll pass.

its 5 bucks by my house, and it is called teh LASERWASH 4000!! so its gotta be laser guided.. righT? well it does a good enough job for the winter, and doesnt touch the car. whihc is a bonus.

 

I'm with u on that Jer... I don't need any fine scratches on my car... Lord knows that it scratches SOOOO easy.
