Total Loss?
Some guy ran a stop sign yesturday and hit the side of my TC. Does this look like a total loss to you? The car is only 5 months old ... I was not able to drive it becuase front driver's side axle is all bent up. There was also some green fliud coming from my car. I think?

yea doesnt look totaled but its a pretty bad hit..my sister crashed my dads blazer, the axle along with the sub frame was completely demolished so yea we ended up selling the truck. You should sue the dude, get lots of money, repair your car, drop a turbo, new wheels, motion suspension, and then call it a day.

I don't see how your insurance adjuster will total it regardless of what you say or try to do. The repair will be much less than the value of the car. I don't think you'll be able to sway his/her opinion with the other insurance company being involved and what not.

i would be very surprised if its totalled. mine is in the shop right now it was simalar damage, t boned on the drivers side only towards the rear a bit more. there was frame damage and the total cost of the repairs was just under 10 thousand dollars.

My car was towed to Zamora's Auto Body this morning. It won't move on its own because the tire is jammed up against the body. They said it would take 24 to 48 hours to complete an estimate. :/ A tech needs to determine the extent of the mechanical damage.
My adjuster from USAA said if they do not total it, they will cut me a check for the diminished value of the car.
