Couldn't get a hold of the ignition light. The guy from the auction yard was watching pretty closely the WHOLE time...

so, based on the pics i'm going to go out on a limb and say speed was probably a contributing factor here....

since all you did was hit the brakes, i guess maybe you were going to fast for the snowy conditions (looks pretty bad from the pics...). the tc does not take to snow very well.... esp an auto.

man, you're thanking the car for saving you life.... i'd be cursing it for causing me to lose control in the first place.

glad to hear your okay.

Roads were clear, no snow. It didn't snow for days previously.

Black box was pulled from the tC. 65 mph speed limit, I was going 65.

It was night, I'm a grandma at night lol.

OH SNAP!! I almost got taken out by a snow plow the other day. I was going in to work and this snow plow was going the wrong way twoards me and he turned back into his lane at the last second and put me in the ditch. As he kept coming tworads me all I could think is, " Oh crap, I'm going to have to get a new car."

That bastard pulled on the side of the road maybe 200 feet away. Told the cop he wasn't going into my lane at all.

THE COP HAD THE NERVE TO WRITE ME A WARNING!

he was like, "I'm not trying to make you out to be the bad guy or the person at fault, but you have to drive more carefully." I was like WTF

If your accident happened in Wisconsin...He would of been at fault too no matter what.

My weekend wasn't too great for my tC too.

First; I get out of work at 3:00 AM and decided to take the interstate home since it was snowing pretty badly. I get on the on-ramp and couldn't see where merge line was while a trucker was in the right lane. He wouldn't slow down for me and I didn't accelerate quick enough because the on ramp was icy. So I went head and merged...all sudden I'm driving over the line and I put the pedal to the floor and flew away from him.

Second; was later that morning. Roads were getting worst cause the wind speed was 40 mph and snow was grifting onto the roads making it hard to see patches of ice and slippery snow patches. I'm driving down a two lane highway and I was behind two cars. The first car wanted to turn at this bank at the last second so the second car slammed his/her brakes. I slammed on mine and felt my car slide to the right so I quickly set the emergency brake (More I think about it...It was stupid move but who knows what could of happened then if I didn't.) My tC was heading towards a ditch and all of sudden the tC went into 360 degree donut. My tC straighten out looking at side of the road and never got damaged. Lucky for me no one was behind me and no one was coming.

But it's true...Accidents do happen within "blink of an eye." You are very lucky to walk away with cuts and bruises; just be very thankful it happened in a Toyota or in Japanese made car; period. I've been into two different accidents with two different Mitsubishi's Galants. I walked away with no cuts or broke bones from both. My brother has been in four or five different accidents with his two Mitsubishi Lancers and again walked away with only air bag fiber dust that gave him minor burns on his arms. I'll always stick with Japanese made cars cause of these personal experiences.

I wouldn't know what to do if Bullitt got killed...I don't think I could ever see him sitting there totally smashed. And if it was accident caused by another driver....that dude or lady better run for the boarder.

We need Spring; right now!!!!!! So we can safetly drive again
