Default Toyota Financial Rates change every month correct?

What I heard was the rates change every month right? Like I know last month it was 3.9% for 700+ in my area... this month it jumped to 4.25%. Wonder if it will go up or down next month.... Ive got a deposit already, but I am really curious if I should wait to apply till the car comes in or just go ahead and do it now....

And dealers may know the answer to this question.... if I apply now but dont have the car yet does that lock in this months rate? and if so what if it drops when the car finally comes in, can you get the lower rate if you havent actually bought the car yet?

So wish I had been able to grab the 3.9% for the tC

You can't lock a rate until you actually do all the loan paperwork. Rates can change every month, and they have risen a bit over the last few months. I don't know what we will see in July. You'd be surprised how little your payment will change with a .25% rate hike though.

Hmmm ya but I am **** about it.... when I was young I got shafted by a dealership when I was stupid and I ended up paying through the roof. I will find the lowest rate.... your right it isn't a big difference... even a $3 a month difference ends up with you paying $200 more then you needed to.

they'll most likely be going up, as do most percentage rates during the summer months. i was worried about the rate hike as well. fortunately my tC was the first model in and i was able to pick it up before my June rate quote expired. the rates change on a month-to-month basis.

yeah tell me about it... on the 22nd the rates went from 4.3 to 4.5% . i figured its only a dollar extra per month, if i woulda went the 22nd instead of the 23rd i could use that dollar to buy a candy bar! I dont care they said my scion will be coming to port sometime next week and pickup time well........ I CANT WAIT!

2.9% is really good. Anybody that can get this rate should lock in fast. In Virginia (at least my dealer), the Scion rate currently is 4.4% (as of yesterday).
