Well I took my tC in last night to get my radio cover replaced. I waited for an hour in the lobby. Then it was finally ready. The paperwork said something about the hinge was broken. I said whatever it works, so I left and went home. The next day I woke up got ready for work, went outside to warm up my car. Sat in it and to my disgust, there were scratches all over my center console! I wish I would have seen them when I was at the dealer but it was dark it was 8pm, anyways I said WTF I know those weren’t there before. I said O HELL NO! Drove to work and the first thing I did was call the dealership, and yell at them for the scratches, she immediately apologized and said we have to see the car to see what part to order, I started laughing at her and said I was just there last night. Then she said let me see if we can order the part without the car. So now I am waiting for her to call! Damn THING!

So frustrating!

Sorry for the bad luck and scratches. How deep? Do you think a good cleaner would help? I like the dash but notice it is easy to leave marks but that they come out pretty good.

That really sucks, but as long as they're taking resposibility and fixing it, I wouldn't get too ignorant with them. Granted, they should've been more careful, but they could also deny they did it. After you leave, it's pretty-much your word against theirs. If they are replacing the parts without a big fight, just be happy it's being resolved.

Yeah they are going to order the part i guess. She hasn't called me back to let me know id i have to bring it down so they know what part to order. I will call her a little later if i dont hear from her. Yeah actually i called scion first and told them since i have a case open with them already. She then contacted toyota i think that's why they aren't asking questions, especially since i left went home and called first thing in the morning. So they can't blame it on me. My leg is no where near where the scracthces are. It's in a place no one would touch.

The case i have with scion. Is my Bottoming out RPM problem. It drops for no reason to lower than 500 RPM making the car shake. Of course 4 times later and 200 miles added to my car they can't duplicate the problem! The toyota tech even told me EVEN IF WE COULD REPLICATE THE PROBLEM WE WONT KNOW WHAT TO FIX! i said YOUR STUPID! well i thought that at least HA! so i am freakin ____ed and want results ya know? AH!
