ehhh, cool I guess? According to this site, http://www.jbcarpages.com, the stock TC runs a 15.7 @88 mph. So it looks like your mods dont do poop... Maybe Im wrong???

No list of mods? Otherwise with those numbers I assume you consider a vortex intake turbonater a mod or something .

Two things: stick or auto, and, why are you racing on 19" wheels? I assume you have 19" because your profile said so.

16" wheels with good tires would probably cut down that time by .5 seconds.

Dude, get a clue. It is very difficult to reproduce magazine test times. Every driver is different, weather conditions can be different, track conditions can be different, etc.

Oh, and looking at the times, those 60's are pretty slow - either you weren't getting traction or your launch could use some work .

Dude, I got a clue. true, it is hard to reproduce magazine times, but those times were with the Tc STOCK! This guy has mods and still coulnt beat the stock time.Dont get your little panties twisted, I was only stating facts.

he has 19" wheels if you know as much about racing as you are acting like you would realize that he is gonna obviously go slower with bigger rims due to inertia...

Hmmmm. Racing with 19" wheels.... Im sorry, maybe I dont know anything.....But thats not a smart idea? I dunno, you tell me MR. Wizard....

Just as a sidenote, (and this will be my last entry here before I stop watching the topic)....
Why would you post your 1/4 mile time "with a few mods", only to show it running it's stock 1/4 mile time ? All I was saying was that his mods did not help him run his "race car" any faster than a stock one would. I will leave now, I know how defensive you Tc kids are... As you were...

this is more of a 1/4 mile time thread than a track time thread.
You should edit...

since you are being an ___ about it squareone... I am guessing you are just upset because you are running a whopping 108 hp Give the guy a break, there are a lot of variables, and he is probably not a professional driver (as most of the test drivers are), so he did ok. Someone just wanted to post some interesting info and you have to go and be an ___ to him about it. But oh yeah "you aren't listening to the thread anymore". Kinda like a child saying what they want to say and then sticking their fingers in their ears How many times have you been timed in a 1/4 mile?

Assuming that you have the basic intake and exhaust that most tC's have those are great runs for having 19s. Id love to see what you run on the stocks or even smaller.

yea but just going on what we know alone of the wheels is enough to justify that... and according to his cardomain page he only has a cai and header so we are talkin about 10-15hp... at most .4 of a second its not like he added 40hp

he has H/I/E and he was running on 19`s however he has a aftermarket body kit and he may have stereo equipment so that slowed him down.... He ran consistantly though..... I wanted to run my car but i was so blocked in........
