Tracking your car!?
Ok, if the dealerships can somehow do this, there has to be somewhere for us to be able to do it as well. (Im hoping, lol). I think that dealerships just make BS up to get us off their case. But does anyone know a site where you cna track what cars are coming into what dealership?
Thanks.
Thanks.
here is my experience with this subject:
i wanted an rs1.0 5spd. i happened to called koons scion of tysons and the dealer said: "we have been allotted a few in the past, and we have one more allotted to us. let me check the status. " he then said that he checked and it had been received by port and it was in transit to the dealership and it was supposed to arrive june 28th. so i put down some $$. june 29th came and the car wasnt there. june 30, july 1,2,3, etc. the car was in fact in transit, and it just took the freight truck longer to get to the dealership. the car ended up coming in july 5th.
i dont think there is any way for us to check where the cars are, because they are most probably on an 18wheeler being driven. i dont think that the trucks have to check in where they are, so the only thing a dealer can tell you is that its on its way.
sorry... i know the feeling of the wait... it sucks. just think.... very soon you'll be apart of the family... it's worth the wait

Well... I know that when my uncle bought his 300C the dealer gave him the FIN or TIN or something like Tracking Identification Numer when he ordered it ... anywho... then he went into a section in the Chrysler website(dont remember) and it showed him where it was... kind of like a UPS tracking number ...
