If I was to trade in my tC, how much do you think I would get with all of that stuff on the car? MILES 22,000. CHECK PROFILE.

mods wont get you money from the dealer. They will only make money for them if they know what their looking at. I would say $18-19k? Have you tried your local credit union or bank. Look up the N.A.D.A. I work at a credit union and thats what we use on anyone who calls in asking the value of the car. Now you wont be able to list all those mods i dont think. But the big ones you might?

Mods actually decrease the value of your car. I think your best bet is to sell privatly or part out your car.

This topic really, really needs a sticky.

Or a script that redirects the poster to http://www.kbb.com every time they post a similar title.

18k or 19k???

i got 13k for my 05 tC that was completely stock, automatic, and had 15k miles on it.

I also traded it at a scion dealer, so maybe thats why i got a little less than some others.

Ya Kelly Blue Book will get you a pretty accurate estimate on what you can expect to get when selling and what you would pay when buying.

actually KBB means nothing to a car dealership, i know in the north east they use a guide callled Galves, its a wholesale pricing booklet, my tc flint mica 5spd with like 22k was only worth about 11-12.5 BLAH

ya stealerships try to steal your car. But KBB is great when dealing with private sellers directly

I agree, KBB means nothing to dealership, but you can use it as your baseline. I traded in my stock 05 tc/MT with 21,000 miles for around 13K. I think you will get more if u sell the car yourself, but also will cost you more time.
