Default trade in xB for tC?

I'm not really sure what forum to stick this in...

A major reason for my getting an xB instead of a tC was the fact that my girlfriend has a two year old daughter. But she up and dumped me and left me high and dry. I no longer have a need for a four door and am eyeing the Scion I really wanted to get.

How feasable is this, really? I have 1200 miles on the xB. In general, will I lose major money on the trade in or is it actually not that bad? I'm sure in the end this isn't the most practical way to buy a tC, but if the extra cost isn't too bad I might do it.

Anyone else do this or something similar?

if your going to trade in the xb your going to loose alot of money you should try and sell it private party first and if you cant and still realy want a tc then trade it in but check the kelly blue book to see the value

Is it an 05 xB? If so, then those KBB values aren't right.

I dropped you a PM about this, cuz I'm in WV and have tossed around the idea of trading my tC for an xB. Maybe we can work something out- take a look at your message.

Ebay it!! Fast, Easy, and straight up. I sold a car there. In total, all it cost was $87 and the guy arranged everything and picked it up.

I did it with my xb, I had to get the xb because my truck was stolen, kept it a year, put 16000 on it, and traded it in, the dealer gave me 11,800 for it, kbb private party was 12,200. Plus its hard to find these things in stick around here, so i bit the bullet.. but I love my tc 1000x more than the xb... fit and finish is just so much nicer, digital air controls, brushed aluminum guages.. its a real improvement IMHO --

my tC seems to be a piece of crap. i was thinking about trading mine in for a camo xB. not serious at first. but i'm beginning to like the idea. my tC has broken down three times since i got her in october. every problem seems even more of a problem because no parts are ever in stock for her. i feel bad for tova. but i guess we'll see what i do with her. any way you look at it, i still want a scion. just depends which i'll end up with and finally be happy with.
