So yesterday while driving back from a show and drag racing something broke in my transmission.
Here's the deal cruisin in third trying to shift to fourth it won't go so I force it..... Ever since it just don't shift....into another gear....
I can get it out of gear easily and I still have plenty of pressure in my clutch.. But it won't go into gear.. Any thoughts.

 

syncro? either way your gonna have to drop the tranny and open it up to check the damage

 

the same thing happened to me in my old car...stuck in third, and it would come out of third, but wouldn't go into any other. mine just felt like a bunch of slop honestly, i couldn't even tell the gears apart anymore...kinda hard to explain, but what ended up happening was the one locking washer on my shifter fell off, and that was the result. Idk, maybe check and make sure nothing's going on with the shifter before you start messing w/ the transmission and potentially spending a lot more money than necessary.

 

Covert the car to an automatic until you learn to drive stick.
