ive had my tc('06) for a little over a year now. when i bought it, i was married and my wife insisted on getting and automatic transmission. well, now that shes gone, i want the automatic transmission to go with her. soooo...

would it be worth it to change from and auto to a manual?

does anyone make an automatic/manual transmission for the tc?

does anyone make a shift kit for the tc?

im freakin DYIN wanting to change it, but i havnt any clue... someone help, please!

 

Only option you have is to trade in, or swap the trannies, which in the long run is not worth it. Sorry about your situation, although you've taught me to not compromise for a woman.

 

I never card for my wife driving, she would wreck it, so I got it manual, so she isn't able to drive it, plus I LIKE Manual transmissions.

 

just trade in for the manual
thats what im doing
itll be cheaper than swapping the tranny
and the car will be worth more and be more reliable in the long run

 

Oy...i am in the same boat, just moved in with my fiance and in the exact same boat. But I am successful at putting my foot down. I paid the car in full so it would be a loose for me. So she is getting a 6 or 8 year old civic and it will all be good.

 

No. Trade for a manual trans. You'll save a lot of money, and tons of headaches.
