hahaha thas great. got that fool in trouble. i had a cop follow me all the way to my driveway when i had my civic and try to ticket me for my exhaust. the thing was, the week before i had my exhaust decibel tested at the ref station and had it certified that it was in the legal decibel range. when i handed him that certification paper he didn't have **** to say and just left. it was hilarious.

well i did go to jail, sat there as he typed his report smirking at me, police chief came in, and said 'let this boy go

police chief watched the tape from the cops camera and it wasnt me who sped in front of him at the time he said it was my car, and since this officer followed me for 1 mile, yes 1 mile to my house without his lights and siren off, and only turned them on once i got to my drive way, the officer was in the wrong the cheif said, aslo i was going to have to go to court, but after seeing the evidenc the judge dismissed the case

well i like the crispy cream comment, maybe thats what he smelled, and i tried debating w/ the officer that it came w/ my car from the dealer, only i really bought it and installed it myself, and he still said as long as i didnt have a CARB sticker its not legal, and even thought its TRD, doesnt mean everything the dealer sells is legal, and yes the s/c does come w/ a CARB sticker for the air box,

BUT, my main question is, Can anyone help me in getting a cold of a CARB sticker, legal or not, so i can slap it on my CAI? reguardless what the officer says, im putting it back on the second i get my ticket taken care of and signed off. Period

man good luck. if the part in question is not carb legal in the first place then that means there is no carb sticker for it. u could try to put a carb sticker from another legal intake on it but if u get caught with that .......i wouldn't want to know. if u still want to use it reinstall it after u took it off to get ur car smogged without it. intakes are more trouble then they're worth.

risky is an understatement. i wouldn't do it. cops aren't as dumb as they seem. and even if they are as dumb as they seem and give u a ticket for it how u gonna explain that to a judge that u put a fake carb number on the intake?

Step 1: The officer's reason for pulling you over and performing a 'search' on your vehicle is not justified. Legal stickers = illegal parts? That won't hold up in court.

Step 2: Get rid of the damn intake. The intake does nothing, it's not CARB legal, and putting a CARB sticker on it is most likely a much larger offense than having the intake on the car. You want to talk about tickets...

Step 3: Get rid of the stickers. They're perfectly legal, they just shouldn't be.

Step 4: Get used to it. You did illegal modifications, you got caught, you got ticketed. The word for that is "justice."

1. the office had no reason to pull me over, ur right on that one, i have the right to keep stickers on my car

2. im keeping my intake, i care more for performance, i think ur nothing but a big looser who cant afford anything.

3. i want my stickers, so im gonna keep it, i like them, so ill keep them.

4. oh and BTW, u said modifications, i only did a mod, 1 (one)

ur talking to me on here like ur an officer or some big nark, maybe u are, screw u, my intake does a lot, and im gonna keep it on, im gonna keep everything i want on my car, its my choice, and its my car

No need to get ____y, I'm trying to help you out here. Of course it's your car, so you can put all the stickers you want on it...you just shouldn't. I'd just like to point out a few things: First, you misspelled "loser." Second, you're clearly the one who "can't afford anything," because you just stated you "care about performance," yet you bought a tC rather than something with a large engine or a turbo. So it looks like you're the one who's broke, my friend. I have a pretty good financial status considering I'm 19 years old, I have my own apartment, and I'm financing a brand new car while working full time and going to college full time. Third, I know you care about performance. That's why you have an intake and stickers.

I wouldn't do that. There's obviously a reason you are meeting with someone from corporate and you don't what to blow it by being disrespectful and asking for a CARB sticker. I would suggest contacting your sponsoring dealership's service department and asking them for a S/C air box CARB sticker to keep LAPD or CHP out of your engine. In the meantime, i would suggest reinstalling the stock air box (just for Wed.), pay the fine, and watch your a$$... while I respect your right to keep your stickers, they will continue to draw attention from LAPD (as well as your tint)... that's just how they are.

yea those damn LAPD's suck, as far as this other fool, i dont care about your life, i dont care ur 19, im 21, so what, i make more money then u think, u obviously dont know that a TC can hit 500WHP and i've even seen it hit 1600HP, ur obviously the stupid one, so performance is something u dont know what ur talking about because obviously u dont know how fast or how hard a tC can go. BTW im older then u, i own my own HOUSE, i have no school anymore because im finished w/ it, I work for a sick a$$ company making 5-6 digits a year, i bought a tC cuz its cheap and its fun to fix up, i've done all the work on my car myself and its my hobby, so F-OFF, u dont know me and u dont know my life, i dont know u and i dont care to know u, I DONT CARE, that not y i came on here, I came on here to ask a simple question but since im meeting up w/ Toyota Corporate next month at NASCAR, ill have a talk w/ them, thank you a$$-O

good point, ill just talk to them and see how the cards go, maybe i can just go around the bush and kinda hint at one, ill also try what u said, ill go to my dealership's and sponsors to ask for a s/c air back sticker, that could actually work
