Default TRD lowering kit

I see that XB or XA didnt have a 2inch TRD lowering kit for awhile either. Does anyone know how long it took for them to put out the 2inch? Cuz I really dont think the 1inch is worth it, thanks.

I believe it's a 1.5" drop, am I mistaken in saying this? Also, after driving with a load on the springs for a few weeks they should settle to close to a 2" drop.

from what i understand it's a 1.25" drop. does anyone know if the drop is slightly lower in the rear than in the front? i know a lot of people that have put springs in their car (not tC's) and the rear ended up being slightly lower than the front, which looked kind of retarded. i wouldn't mind having a lower drop in the front but a lower rear drop, ehhh.

I believe the wheel gap in the rear is naturally a little greater than the front, so the TRD springs lower the rear slightly more, which evens everything out.

Having seen one and had a lowered tC right next to my car, if that's any less than a 2" drop, I'll shave my ___. The TRD springs are a solid 2"-2½" drop at the minimum.

That being said, it's not bad lowered. Rides like stock from what I could tell. Just helps reduce all that wheel well gap.

checkout my trd springs review i did awhile back on our demo tC. it has a full review of the springs and pictures.

trd springs are 1.2" drop. it goes from a 4 finger gap to a 2 finger gap all around. trd will never come out with a drop that's more than 1.5" cause they still want you to able use the factory shocks with the trd springs.

lowered

stock

yes, you will get a lower drop in the front cause that's where the engine is.

Rich, I'm not sure if you covered this before, but can you tell me how the handling is with the TRD springs? I mentioned elsewhere that my car feels a little "floaty" taking turns at speed, especially if there are bumps or dips in the road. I know you said the ride isn't worse with the springs, but is the handling better?
