I recently purchased my trd supercharger for $1950. My question is ,I have a friend who is a toyota certified mechanic and does these types of installs.He will charge me $300 to install the supercharger. $300 install 1year/12,000mile warranty or have it installed by the dealership for $1600 5year/60,000 mile.which would you do?

 

its all up to you. will u trust ur friend the ASE certified tech for cheaper but less warranty or more money for the dealer. i would probably choose my buddy. wut years ur car u think anything will go wrong?

 

Its an 06. I stay on top of the maintenance and have had an integra supercharged before and have had good experience.I trust the guy he's done all my buddies cars .

 

dude, find another dealership. my dealership in md will do it for aroudn $600, i've heard some of them doing it for less, like around 300.

so shop around, call a few dealerships, see what they charge.

 

go with your friend if you trust him ask him to lower it a little haha

 

thats funny, I actually did jokingly ask him to lower it. I'll probably ask around the dealerships here in great old califonia.
