Default TSB question

I took my car in to check out the air conditioning. However he told me that if they don't find a problem, that i will be charged for it. Now is that the procedure or am i getting jerked by this dealership?

I think you're getting jerked around.

well i called up scion, and i was told if i didn't need to fix my tsb. then i would be charged for it, since the dealership had to spend time looking for the problem. It was only 22 bucks so i guess it's alright

NO it's not...it's warranty...even if the dealer didnt fix anything it's still a warranty look. I mean that's like You take your New car in...and say the transmission isnt shifting right, and they say OK IF WE CANNOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM WE ARE GONNA CHARGE YOU FOR DRIVING YOUR CAR...EVEN THOUGH YOUR TRANSMISSION IS UNDER WARRANTY...it just doesnt work that way...Find a new dealer.
