Default TWM Bombshell shift **** question

Ok, I just put in the new TWM Stage II shifter and love it. I got the TWM Bombshell **** and love that too. Only one thing, the **** sits almost as high as the stock shifter/**** did. The NTIS or whatever threading technology TWM uses to put the **** on the shifter has three parts to it: the nylon insert threading, height selection screw, and obviously the **** itself. The nylon threading insert is supposed to screw all the way into the **** itself. On mine it wouldn't go in nearly how far it was supposed to. I didn't even put the height selection screw in it because I wanted it as low as possible. Sorry for how long this is, but I was just wondering if somebody might have had this issue before or know how I could fix this. Thanks. Here is the link to what the NTIS technology is:

the nylon thread will go in all the way to the top of the ****, you just gotta use a lot of strength as u twist it on, it will go low as the stock ****. USE a lot of strength as you twist.
