Recently I sent TWM an e-mail asked them if my OBX shift **** will screw on to their short shifter. They said responded very quickly and let me know that it will work with aftermarket ***** & also stock *****.

MSRP listed on twm's website is $184.95 with a ****.

I mentioned something about a group buy and they responded with the following:

Id possibly be down depending on price... creativecompacts.com is supposed to have their shiifter out soon as well and is supposed to be very reasonably priced (like half of what the TWM is).

 

don't buy from TWM.

i got one for 130 before they raised the prices to that unbelievable price.

wait for an obx to show up.. when i had my nissan, obx copied B&M short shifters.. i got it for half the price and it worked awesome i paid like 70 bucks

 

on the website it is listed 184.95 without a ****. so, is this group buy with or without the ****?

 

As far as I know, TWM is real stingy when it comes to selling their products... There was another tC forum trying to start a group buy and I had to point out that they weren't even getting a discount!

its probably a good idea to wait a bit since the tc is so new. i was browsing for ***** on ebay and saw they have a short shifter + **** set for a Delsol for like $15!!!

Well I had one bought from Sparks Toyota before TWM pulled them. So I am interested in one if the price is right
i.e.. 131 + shipping (same as I had with Sparks) else I will
be buying someone elses.

Hopupracing has a B&M shortshifter for 129. Might be better to go that route for a group buy. Its cheaper to start with so you cant go wrong. (But not shift **** on it)

i would consider depending on price, but i feel like everyone else who said we should wait for something cheaper.

 

B&M is REAL good quality.. for a 125 shipped.. thats not a bad deal.. see what kinda group buy can be held with them
