Default Ultimate Sun-Shade for tC and all Panoramic Roof Vehicles.

I found an excellent product to keep the heat from becoming unbearable in our glass roofed cars.

First, I have no involvement in the company or in the product other than admiration for a great idea. Even then, it's not perfect but it is a match made in heaven. Check it out. It's a Sun shade that is self contained seems reasonably portable (if not necessarily fast or easy to setup or take down) and it is WORLDS AHEAD of windshield shades, full covers or those goofy partial covers that just cover the glass area to the top of the doors. This actually sits a bit off the roof with spacers of some sort and extends past the windshield and rear glass. I also like how it doesn't touch the windshield or hatch glass but instead just shades it. This could possibly be the best solution we have at present. I will be getting one and will return to this thread to rate it and discuss it's merits and/or problems if any.

If anyone buys one and wants to also rate and discuss it this would be the place. Here is the link:

Well... it looks like you could blow right off in a place with lots of wind/storms. And those, mainly in the city, that use it should be concerned about it being stolen. Not that, "OMG I WANT ONE FOR MY CAR" but things left out are things kept by someone else.

I agree with you in principle, same with car covers, even with the cheezy cable locks, but it DOES lock onto the car by four straps with multiple large sections that can't be pulled out without cutting it, rendering it somewhat useless to the thief. Actually I guess it depends a lot on where you park. If you work on the inner city, or park at a train station/airport/bus depot (Who the HELL would park their tC to ride a bus anyway?) but yeah, it's not perfect. Heck, what is?

hmmm, I think it would take a MANcake to cover a tC though. Those half covers have been around forever -I referenced them in my original post.

Okay I give up, it IS a goofy looking thing but give the inventor credit, at least he came up with something original. I don't worry about this -I park in the loading dock at work. (plus I drive with "ProtectoInvisiArmorGuardShield Barrier" when on the road.) It is amazing how closely Scion copied Mercedes Benz C-Class coupe roof design, right down to the glass wind barrier. Of course MB had power sun shades that were mos substantial that the rice paper ones in the tC.
