Default Under Body Light Removal

ok so i have under body lights and i think its annoyin to take em out... do they need to put my car on the lift to install it and if so does anyone have any easy ways to get the neon tubes out?

wow if you don't have access to the jack points then you really should move them period... you'd be introuble if you gotta flat and couldnt jack the car up becuz of neon.

no i can jack it up... a friend and i did when i put the intake in... scion just said the lifts would break em

tell me about it, oh and uh by the way, how did u install the front neon light? I just had them taken out for $40 and he had to lift the car.

i put it with that in case it has to be lifted... i wasnt clear that i wanted to know if the car had to get lifted up or not..

Although the OP contains too may pronouns to tell for sure - I think the question is:

Does the car have to be put on a lift to install the supercharger? Because, if so, it will require that the UB lights be removed before he takes the car to the dealer.

mmm... why would the lights have to be removed in order to lift it up? i had underbody lights on my last car, and everytime i went to get new tires, etc. i would tell them that i had neons, and they would use a different type of lift. hmmm, interesting...

You could just leave em on and not turn em on if you are so concerned about uninstalling them

i'll most likely just have em put it up there and hope for the best... they might have to do it when they replace my A/C's motor. Wish me luck!
