Default URGENT HELP

can some one please quide me on removing the windshiled wipers to begin my trd springs install, im folloiwing the write up one of the members did but it just says remove wipers and find tab and take them off...i tried pulling on them but im afraid to break them if i pull any harder...help on this please...thanks

i'm also curious to know what the hell wipers have anything to do with springs.

How the hell would your windshield wipers (that are on the top of the car) have any interference on how you install an item on the bottom of the car...

that's just a waste of valueable time...

You have to remove the plastic covering near the firewall to gain access to the bolts for the top of the strut tower. Not sure if this requires removing the windshield wipers but this page tells you how to do it all...

first close the hood then remove the plastic cover remove the 12mm bolt lift
the arm so the blades point up (like for cleaning) then useing the arm in the up
position gently rock left and right the lower portion will separate note the arm
is spring loaded so keep them in this position untill you ready to install them

in order to take off the whole strut assembly, you must first take off the black shroud that cover up the 3 top strut mount bolts, but in order to take off that black shroud you must take off the windshield wipers. hope this explains the reasoning.
