Urgent Question!
what do main, and rod bearings, have to do with a head?
people have been swappin heads around for ages, take honda for example 1.8 heads on 2.0 "b" clocks, and 2.0 heads on 2.4 "k" motors, chevy, 327, 350, 383 basically same block, diff bore and stroke, heads have been mixed and matched all over the place, with success. our cars are based on toyota solaras, which started out as a 2 door camery, and they use the same 2.4 cyl. engine? same egine code right??? i don't see why not, if you need a head that is preety cheap, now model year will play a big affect on if it will for or not. the engine might have been revised, but retain the same engine code. so do some more home worke first, but i don't see a problem with it, i have been going to school for automotive tech nology for years, and id seem like it would work.

ZPI tried using on the head different parts to replace some damaged ones, they discovered that some components did line up and did not fit. Old Thread, I remembered that, and the thought tha maybe this wouldn't bolt right up.
