i know of another problem here in the forums about trunk opening while he was driving....what happened to me is an honest answer and i am not ranting on this car....i love this car


ok so i came home today at 9 and parked my car in the garage....got my bag out of the trunk, closed it and put the alarm on........i went out to go lock the gate around 11 and i found my trunk open......i know for a fact that i closed my trunk when i came home because it was only 2 hours ago that i closed it.....secondly, no one could have opened my trunk because the gate was closed.....

this kinda puzzles me and scares me......i am wondering why the alarm didnt go off ..... this shows that no one was tampering with my car....maybe the lock is faulty??? anyways i just dont want my trunk opening on its own, while im driving....its kinda scary going 60mph and all of a sudden the trunk opens.......my tC has only 2000 miles on it....

does anyone know whats up with this???

if it happened just once, i would file this one under the "one off" scenario. dont worry about it. maybe you didn't close it all the way? tight enough? not sure...but dont lose sleep over it. =)
